ASEC INTRODUCTION

Anglia Scholars Educational Consultancy Limited (ASEC) is a company incorporated in England in July 2000 under Reg. No. 4029401 and is recognised by Chinese Embassy in England. Since its establishment in 2000,ASEC has made outstanding achievements by fostering many links with state and private educational institutions both in England and in China.

 

ASEC plays an important role in Sino-English educational and cultural exchanges. It is exploring certain areas of Chinese education with a view to making a positive contribution to China's educational development and widening knowledge in China of English as an international business, legal and cultural language for the 21st century.

 

ASEC has established long-term co-operation relationships with various educational bureaus in Beijing, Shanghai, Shandong Province, Guangdong Province and Zhejiang Province. ASEC has successfully received and sent more than 300 teachers and students between England and China from 2001 to 2005.

 

ASEC has been set up by educationalists and lawyers and the Chairman is Dr. Paul McCormick (B.Sc., M.A., M. Phil, D. Phil.), who holds a Ph. D from Oxford University and is the External Assessor of the University of Portsmouth M.A. in Business Law. He has held a number of academic appointments in England and been the Special Adviser to the British Immigration Minister. Dr. McCormick was appointed Visiting Professor to the prestigious School of Labour Economics, Capital University, Beijing, P.R. China in September 2005.
